Reliable And Expert Texas Air Conditioning
There are few things worse than a broken A/C unit spoiling your summer, and unfortunately, air conditioning systems do malfunction, just like other home appliances. Our expert technicians can quickly and accurately diagnose your A/C problem, whether it's blowing hot air instead of cool air, or it won't switch on.
Indications You Might Need Your Air Conditioner Repaired
Our Pampa based professional and experienced technicians are trained and qualified to deal with a variety of typical air conditioning problems. We fully understand just how important it is for you to have an A/C unit that works and keeps your family cool during the summer. A broken unit or one that's older often doesn't work as efficiently as it should, and that can lead to poor air quality, as well as energy bills that are just too high.
Common signs that a repair may be needed:
Our HVAC professionals Can Help You
It's essential to have your air conditioning unit looked at as soon as you can if you suspect it isn't working as it should to prevent any issues from becoming too costly or inconvenient. Our team will work with you to come up with a solution to your A/C issue that is affordable and efficient, so you can enjoy cool air again. Our goal is to get your unit working again as quickly as possible, whether it means resolving small problems before they become costly or whether it means preventing problems with routine maintenance.
When to Get Your Air Conditioning Unit Repaired
It isn't always easy to determine whether it's time to service your A/C unit or not. Before you pick up the phone to call a technician, check the following:
You may need to call a technician if the above steps don't seem to resolve any issues with your A/C unit. We'll discuss the problem with you when you talk to one of our experts to decide whether a service call is necessary.
Replace or Repair Your Existing A/C Unit?
Often it makes more sense from a financial view to replace your air conditioning unit, despite the fact that in most cases it can be repaired. If you feel your unit has reached the end of its useful life, it's probably time to just replace it.
If the following scenarios apply, replacing your unit rather than repairing it makes more sense:
In general, most A/C units last between 10 and 15 years, so if yours is that old, it probably doesn't have much time left, and replacing it is a better option. Once your unit is 15 years old, you'll find it breaks down more often, regardless of how well you maintain it.
As a new A/C unit will cost you somewhere between $5,000 and $7,000, including the installation and any ductwork needed, it's clearly a major investment. So it makes sense to compare the cost of repairs that you are making against the cost of an entirely new unit; you can easily find yourself paying more for repairs than a new unit would cost, especially if you have to make repairs more often than you would like.
R-22 refrigerant is being phased out because of the harmful effect it can have on the environment. If your existing A/C unit uses R-22, you should think about getting a new unit, especially as it's often a challenge to obtain some of this old type of refrigerant.
Your unit may just not be doing its job as well as it used to if your energy bills are higher than before and keep going up. Your unit uses more power to cool as it gets older, and buying a new and energy-efficient A/C unit probably makes more sense than having to pay those too high energy bills.
Your air conditioner may be the wrong size for your home or may just be too old if it's just not cooling your home as it should, or you're always adjusting the thermostat. Regardless, we can look at your unit and advise you as to your best option.
